Title: Stage 2 Report
Abstract: Despite increasing internal tourism, boat hire on the Broads is proving to be an area of decline. The increasing popularity of EcoTourism, an area of tourism which seeks to
exploit our natural resources in the least intrusive and most sustainable way, could provide a significant boost to the Broads tourism sector. However, the Norfolk Broads
are now under environmental pressure in a manner they have never been before.
Sustaining this environment against the pressures of modern use has become
increasingly important. To ensure that the proposed EcoBoat is both environmentally sustainable and economically viable the principles of sustainable engineering have
been closely observed in the analysis described in this report.
