Aims of the Project
There are three primary objectives:

To increase the awareness of sustainable boating design, technologies (reduced carbon emissions, power sources, novel materials) and environmental best practice (waste handling, boat dismantling, recycling). |

To lay the foundation on which boat builders can design, construct and re-cycle boats, in an environmentally sound and sustainable manner. |
3 |
To lay plans for the formation of an Industry Working Group which will seek further funding to develop the findings of the research. The design of an experimental craft will be commissioned so that one or more demonstration units can be built and tested on the Broads. |
